Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
Fixelim is operated by [Mehmet Furkan Keskin] ("we"). We are responsible for your personal data (the "data controller" under the Turkish KVKK and the "controller" under the GDPR).

2. What data we collect
Your account
- First name, last name, email address.
- Your password: only an irreversible digest (hash) is stored; we cannot see the password itself.
- Your app settings: language, and how your name is shown on the forum (in full or as initials).
Your repair conversations
- The problem you describe to Fixelim, your answers to its questions, your answers in the safety form, what you write during the steps and your "I can't do this" explanations.
- The language and country you choose (to answer in the right language and suit your country).
- The time you accepted the risk notice (consent record) and the record of repairs stopped for safety reasons.
Forum
- The questions, solutions, guides and comments you share; your likes, saves, reports and blocks.
Technical information
- Server logs: which request was made when, how long it took, and error records. Your connection address (IP) is used briefly to prevent abuse.
- There are no ads, analytics or tracking tools in the app or on this website. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. Artificial intelligence
Fixelim produces its answers with Google's Gemini AI model. What you write during a repair (your problem, your answers, your messages during the steps) is sent to Google so that an answer can be produced. Your name and email address are not sent.

The AI's answers can be wrong. Our safety rules stop dangerous work, but always use your own judgement; when in doubt, consult a professional.
5. Who we share it with
Your data is shared only with these companies that help us provide the service, and only for that purpose:

What you share on the forum is public: Fixelim users see your posts and comments with your name in the form you chose (in full or as initials). Your email address is never shown.
We may share data with the competent authorities where the law requires it (for example a court order).
Transfers abroad: transfers to Google's and Cloudflare's servers outside Turkey and the EU are made with the safeguards required by KVKK art. 9 and the GDPR (standard contractual clauses). [legal review]
6. How long we keep it
- While your account is open your account data and repair history are kept.
- When you delete a repair it disappears from the app at once; the content of the conversation (what you wrote, the answers, your form answers) is permanently deleted from our server after 30 days.
- When you delete your account your email address and password are deleted at once and your name is shortened to your initials. Your saved posts are deleted. Your repair conversations disappear from the app at once and are permanently deleted after 30 days.
- What you shared on the forum (questions, solutions, guides shared from a repair, comments) stays on the forum with your initials even if you delete your account; you can delete anything you don't want to keep from My posts first. Having shared a guide does not stop the conversation behind it from being deleted: the conversation is deleted, the guide stays.
- Consent and safety records (the time you accepted the risk notice, the record of work stopped for safety reasons) are kept as a legal record for [X years] after the conversation is deleted. They do not contain the text of your conversation.
- Server logs are deleted automatically within a few days.
- Backups: database backups are kept for 14 days and server backups for 7 days, then deleted. Deleted data also leaves the backups once this period has passed.

7. Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 and GDPR arts. 15–22 you can ask:
- to know whether and which of your data is processed, and to get a copy;
- to have wrong data corrected (you can also change your name and email yourself in Profile → Account details);
- to have it deleted (Profile → Privacy & security → Delete my account, or by writing to us);
- for processing to be restricted, to object to it, and to take your data with you;
- to withdraw consent where processing is based on it.
Requests: privacy@fixelim.com. We answer within 30 days at the latest.
Complaints: in Turkey to the Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr); in the EU to the data protection authority of your country.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in irreversible form. Only authorised persons can access the server, with a key; the database is not reachable from the internet. No system is perfect; if a breach happens, we will inform you and the competent authority as the law requires.
9. Age limit
Fixelim is not intended for people under [18]. We delete accounts that we learn belong to someone under this age.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we publish the current version on this page and announce important changes in the app.
